Here's two quick pics I took of my new diorama immediately after I finished it. Look for an article on the construction of this mini-dio with lots more pictures coming soon.

All questions will hopefully be answered in the article I am currently writing about this project. Thanks for the encouraging words, everyone.

Well done, Folgore!
One amusing detail catched my eye...I think the camel has exactly the same expression in its face as the Topolino! Like watching in mirror!
This kind of things make me laugh internally.

The camel came in a pack of two made by Verlinden. They cost $45 CDN and took me 1.5 months to get. They must not be the most popular subject to model.

Nic,
Great job!! Are you planning on showing this dio off at any upcoming events?
Can I make a reccomendation too? If you shoot more pics try going out side (as the subject is clearly in the desert this effect should be even better). Natural light does wonders, esspecially if you can get a nice blue sky day for the backdrop.
Cheers,
Jim

Thanks Jim. I am planning on taking the pictures in the backyard, with a white backdrop, today. Once they're ready, I'll send them and the article in. The article will cover and explain some of the new techniques I used when making this diorama, as well as review Model Victoria's Topolino, of course. I'm hoping people new to building armour and/or dioramas will find the article useful.

Nic,
Cool. Will look forward to posting it. I can try adding a desert backgroud image with sand dunes and the like on one of them if you'd like.

Sure Jim, that would be cool for the title page or something. Hope to get those pics to you today, as soon as I figure out how to zip them. Never tried it before.
