It’s about a small mishap in Normandy summer 1944.
A group of three Sherman’s from the 2nd Armoured Division is on the way to support the 3rd army in Normandy and they have been driven lost in a small town. The commander in the guiding tank send out some soldiers too look for some landmarks, besides the ruined church.
When they are doing that the radioman at the back of the guiding tank try too calling the staff.
After a while the soldiers find some good landmarks. And then they can finally link up with the 3rd army who entering Avranches at the 1st of August 1944.

I like the story and the dio
I only have few critics
1. Ur street is too neat, clean... add some rubble, that building behind had some walls that crashed down....
2. Maybe its the pics, but ur figures look a bit too glossy, one more matt surface should make that just fine
3. add few more "shell holles" on the walls of the ruin, those walls didnt colapse by themselves... some holes from the explosion must be present
These are few thinghys that will make your dio even better and they dont require much work at all
cheers on a nice dio!

I too like the story and the use of the figures.
One thing I would like to see is that the main 'line' of the diorama isn't parallel to the base.

The Church hasn’t been ruined by war, it’s a very old ruined church. So it shouldn’t be any rubble left.
The only glossy fig is the tank commanders leather jacket. I don’t know if the leather jacket should be glossy or not. What do you think?
Here is a picture when I have turned the tank a little bit. Is that better?

normally.. yes but i think he doesn't pay that much attention to keeping his jacket clean during the war.. i mean the tank is so rusty.. why don't you make the jacket a bit more dirty:P and would the church still be there like a ruin? ore isn't it in a village but on the countryside? but overall really nice diorama!!! I also like the paintwork a lot!

I like your use of Kilroy. He was one of the most popular graffitee characters in WW II.
Good work!

use of the figures is good, but yes, the streets are two clean, and next time you do a road in a dio, make it not parallel to your base, just makes it look a little bit better
good job

Sherminator - Not bad.
There are a couple things I would do. (I know some have been suggested already)
1. Debris - scene is TOO clean.
2. Glossy figures -
3. Faces - try a thin wash of burnt umber to give some depth to those guys.

In general I agree with the other coments, specially some rumble and dirt in the street, and dust in walls and figures.
I like the theme.

nice dio you have there. i like the scene and story. i think what may be missing is a sidewalk. or if this is a countryside scene, you should add grass/dirt around the church. i dont see too many buildings built directly onto a road. otherwise, well done. keep up the good work.

Tanks for your ideas.
I will add more rubble, add some grass around the church and in the cobble stone, and i will try too wash the faces I have expirement with washes but I haven't find a good way to it.
And turn the tank drivers head to the left and re-paint the eyes, I will not turn the tank commanders head or eyes I want him to see thoughtful over the map and yes he stopping the tank behind him with his strange hand.
i will make the stuff on the tank too look more darker.
Have I forgotten anything? Please let me know.
I hope I have some time to do this next day or day after that.
Bye Bye
