Hey i found a couple of pics of my first diorama its called ambush. I based it on an M18 Hellcat with crew waiting for a Jagdpanther. Unfourtunatly that jagdpanther never came as i ran out of money and forgot about it. Anyway here are some pics
i made this when i was about 10 years old so im pretty chuffed seing as i though i couln't paint for peanuts.

Isn't that the way most ambushes work? Hurry up, set up, wait, wait ...... wait some more. Nobody comes. Kind of like deer hunting.

What kind of jungle is that one ? Honestly and without critics I think you have to use another background or base for your dio. That grass is very big. Can´t see the figs and vehicle.

when i as little i had those metal figs you paint and i used to do that to.I used fire crackers if it turned out crapy. BUT yours looks fine keep working it will come one day and bang your a pro.
then came the invetion of plastic and boom, whole wars would get fire crackers i would through them from every where things would be crazy outside. My mom would yell what you do out there with melted plastic every where.
I used fire crackers to blow them up until they where outlawed.
Happy Modeling
