Ya know, as a kid I think I attempted to "color" my helicopter SnapTite kit with my standard, school-issued watercolor set.
As an adult modeler looking at a picture my 5 year-old stepdaughter did with the same timeless watercolor set, I wondered if anybody has ever washed or weathered with this product.
I should hear some results before I try this radical idea.

Hi Cuhail,
I remember painting ho figures for my model railway decades ago with water paints....gouache and poster.
It was a looooonnnnnggggg time ago but I remember being happy with the results at the time.
The trick was to add fairey liquid (Liquid dish soap) to the water.

Worth a try....if it don't work you can just wash it off.

Cheers
Peter

Chalk pastels and water colors do share the same property and yes, it is nice for wash but the pigments are quite bigger than usual. But be sure to cover the underlying color first! Incase it goes wrong, just go to your sink and wash it away.

Shonen, when you say"Bigger pigments" do you mean that it will leave a grit?

Fitzer, Does that really help, making the water wetter?
