Hi all,
Heres the basics: Diorama of 130th Panzer - Lehr Panthers at Mondaye farm, June 10,1944. Five Panthers dispatched to the farm with photographer. Crews photographed at road intersection with the 5 tanks. I have the following references:
Panzers in Normandy - Then and Now
Panther - Concord armor at war series
The Panzers and the Battle of Normandy
I'm looking for any other shots of this meeting that may show the turret numbers on the rest of the tanks. I've got the number for "Gerda' - 234. The other 4 Panthers in the photos are turned the wrong way! Anyone know of another source for photos?
This is the photo series with the three Panthers on the road with the Panther muzzlebrake in the foreground.
