Just finnished the road wheels on my model tiger,it took 2 days to do them free hand using tamiyas nato black. Plus some photos of the model decals before and after micro sol and weathered.thanks for now

wow, excellent work, what scale is that tiger?? are just the wheels freehand paint or the entire tiger, either way i'm impressed....

Geese you do them the hard way ..I have a trick for you ...First I don't know how you do it to paint tamiya paints with a brush they drive me nuts... But I use humbrol or MM enamel paints I mix up some dark earth and black and quickly paint the rubber not being very careful but not touching the rims.....Instead of trying to get the perfect line around them I just throw on a black wash and this makes the perfect edge with very little trouble .I can do a full set of tiger wheels in a couple of hours.

An excellent job on the entire kit. The wheels turned out great. Did you hand paint the green stripes on the hull also? Good job there too. I like to take the easy way out on rubber road wheels. I take a fine point SHARPIE and do the rubber with that, then I spray a nice layer of dull coat on them. They turn out nice that way. Just a short cut for me. Keep up the great work.
