Everyone who does Shermans knows that Tamiya has a decent M4A3 75mm kit from 20 years ago and a recent upgrade of the same kit. I was doing an inventory of my motorpool and discovered something weird.
I have built so many Shermans and kit bashed so many sets, I don't have a plain old M4A3 75mm!! The two Tamiya M4A3 kits I bought were converted to a 76mm Italeri turret swap and a Verlinden M1 Dozer. The other Tamiya M4A3 was the 105mm version. Italeri M4A3 kits were the USMC and Calliope variants. Well I have rectified this oversight by buying the older M4A3 kit off ebay. Hopefully I won't come up with some brilliant find like a Crab or Aunt Jemima.

I was also on a lookout for old Shermans. If I ever got my hands on them, I'll build them OOB to preserve the details (althought not that good).
