I used to swear to Tamiya products, but after building my first DML thing, the jagdpanzer IV L/48, I am totally a DML fan now, they offer more choice, and the fitting is usually slightly inferior to Tamiya's, but with a little filling and cutting here and there, they are great. The individual track links is a definite advantage which saves me money on buying modelkasten or Friul tracks.

So I will say the new A, and D panther is as good as Tamiya's, and throw in the indi. track factor, I will say that they are better.

Better then Tamiya's. Would Tamiya give you indi links no. Just those vinyl jobs . DML links are off a little not hollow but kept the kit down in price. For real job nothing would be better then a set of Fruils. Wish AFV club would start making some.

Tamiya's kits are good, but....
1) The DML kits are just as good
2) The DML kits come with individual track links
3) The DML kits cost about $15 - 20 less retail

Given all of these factors, I would say that the DML kits are far superior. This is just my opinion of course.
