hey all, i came up with this technique while doing my wirblewind dio ( which is 92% done). I wanted to have some figs with their helmets off but becuase tamiya dont thinkg about these sort of things the head of the figs are flat to make for the helmets. as ofcourse we all know.
so what i did was i got a little bit of clay or milluput if you may........ and moulded the rest of the figures head with it. It all depends on the size and shape of the figures head to your moulding. then i let it dry for 4 hours then i get a drop of white glue , spread a layer over the moulded top head. then i sprinkle a little bit of woodland scenics fine course flocken over it. this gives the simulation of hair. then let it dry. now paint it what ever hair color you want.
hope this helps.
if you have any more questions about this , just reply and i will always read them.
