I was wondering if anyone knew which company, if any makes a good detail set for the M-8 Greyhound? I am hoping that one of them ahs provided a nice decal to duplicate the numbers on the interior turret race? Can anyone help me on this?

Thanks

I believe Verlinden does an interior and an exterior set.

This is what Rob was talking about.

This is the engine update set.

I've never used the engine set, but the interior/exterior set is a good set.

These are what you're talking about?

Sorry Deacon, none that I could find out there. There has to be a set with similar size numbers though that you could use. I'm thinking maybe borrowing from our Railroad brethren's decal sets. I know Microscale makes quite a few number sets. Hmmm...now which scale to use?
I know it would make for tedious work but, maybe you're up for it?!

Either the ABER brass set or the Verliden interior have the numbers, that is what I used on mine and I got numbers from one of them. I think it was ABER.

Cheers,

You're right Ken that is a nice looking set. Have to look into that, the next time I build an M8.

Indeed it is M1! I just might have to get me this set to go with the Verlinden set to overdo the M8 I have! What the heck.

Now thats the ticket! Exactly what I am looking for. Now where to get a set? Maybe Squadron? I have the Verlinden interior set and it is good.

I am finishing up the M-20 right now and want to do the M-8 or maybe an M5A1 Stuart.

You can get it from several places:

Squadron $23.96
Great Models $17.55
VLS Corp. $21.99

These are just a few places. (S&H not included)
