Any interest in submitting the GOER series of vehicles to Accurate Armour or other limited-production manufacturers? Huge truck, articulated body for steering, no suspension other than the oversized tires, amphibious,,,,,came in a cargo, fuel and wrecker version. You knew it was coming by the ungodly sound it made. It was a TO&E truck for armored battalions in the early 70's, and references show it operating in Viet Nam as well.

No motor pool would be complete without one!!

With the exception of making tires, the cargo and fuel GOER's would be fairly easy scratch building (don't look at me #:-) ) projects. The cab is flat sided as is the bed for thecargo version. The fuel version is just a big tank. There is more to them than that, but they are one of the easier, providing you can get plans. Easiest vehicle ever had to park in teh woods.

Vehicles that did not see widespread use and were looked upon poorly do not do well as kits. Take the M114, the MBT70, the GOER, Gamma Goat. They did not stay around long enough, or weren't loved enough to have people push for a kit.

The exception to this rule is WW2 German equipment. If some scientist sketched something on a note pad or there was a semi-assembled prototype somewhere, then we see a kit of a romanitcized production variant. (take all those Luftwaffe '46 aircraft or the Maus tank for instance).

A Goer or a Gamma Goat would be cool, BUT PLEASE how about a M916 and M870 combo. Well I could dream, back to drawing the blueprints for the M916
