What the best way to glue windshields on to vehicles with out getting residue on the edges?

Use white glue such as Elmers.

White glue does the trick for me.

I use the cement Steve shows, but have also had good luck with Testors Clear Parts Cement and window maker.

yes use Elmers. or they sell a glue just for clear plastic testors makes it

No matter which glue you use remember to keep those ape paws out of the glue!!!!!!!!

Elmers works great but make sure you keep gluey fingers of the glass

I use Tacky Glue. Place it sparingly along the edges of the principal piece you wish to apply the glass to. Press. Wipe off excess then hit with Future wax. Looks great. If you built the Tamiya M-26 Dragon Wagon, their headlights are superb. the silver insert just makes that headlight stand out. I used the same technique with Bare Metal on a B-17G landing lights. Try it, you'll like it.

I also use Elmers Glue, but most of the time i like to use Tenex 7 R. Tenax melts the plastic in place and most of the time it doesnt mar the plastic.
