Iam currently working on a diorama project,but I would like to add some bobwire to my dio,would someone know if its possible to scrachtbuilt it. what materials ect.

Went to school with a Bob wire at least he showed up in all the study halls where subs were

You can cut some wire mesh so only tiny strings are left with little " stubs " of metal hanging on like this = -|---|---|---|---|---|--- ( this is a line in the mesh= ----------- ) but be carful because its going to be sharp

thanks yoda I will definetly try that method,last week I went to a hobby shop and saw already made stuff but it looked more like concentina wire,and it was not the right lenth and expensive.your idea should work I have all the materials but the wire had me stumped Iam new to diaramas before I built singel figure viginettes in small picture frames but I want to move on to bigger projectst.thanks

Actually all good ideas. I remember once where a guy took some nails in a piece of wood 4 total stretched the wire fine copper and the at say 1/64 " tied a piece of copper wire around and snipped off the ends leaving him with the barb. looked good but takes time.
