Im not that bright when it comes to german armor subjects but is the Alan Models 105mm Howitzer Wespe model any good? I know Tamiya has a kit of the same as well but what are the differences between the two? Or is one the same mold as the other? Any help would be much appreciated since I am pretty interested in this kit.

Whiskey,
I can not comment on the Alan kit unfortunately. But I am building the Tamiya kit right now. As far as I know they are from different molds....
The Tamiya kit is a joy to build. So far I have yet to encounter a single fit problem. The only ejector-pin marks that need to be filled so far are on the inside of the upper armor. I have used plastic card on two occasions, on in the fighting compartment floor (big gap), and to fill the gap in the sponson. As far as I can see with my very limited knowledge the detail is crisp. and clear.
So with the Tamiya kit you can not go wrong.
Cheers....
Harm...
PS posing this thing next to it's cousin (a Hornisse) really makes you see how tiny this vehicle was...

I have the Tamiya version of the Wespe I plan to build for the incoming campaign. It's still in the box but as far as I've seen it is probably one of the best by Tamiya. I don't know about Alans' version though.
