Alright guys, I just spent the last 45 minutes of my lunch break bending and applying the six PE stowage rack hinges for the back of my 1:72 Revell M4A1 Sherman.

You may now officially have me commited to the looney bin. #:-) #:-)

This is my first time using 1:72 PE and man, I give credit to those of you who do it on a regular basis. Must have the patience of a saint.

Ahhhhh, I feel better now that I talked about it. Time to bend some more microscopic fiddley-bits.

This was the first 1/72 scale armor kit I used PE on. Although I used the Matchbox version of the kit. It comes molded in white. I thought it would be interesting to leave it unpainted in white plastic with brass photo etched parts.

I built the Monogram one (OD plastic, same exact kit) with the PE and painted it. Although the Sherman experts have picked this kit apart for inaccuracies, I thought it looked pretty good.

BTW, did you get the Armo aluminum barrel for it (AR 72734)?

You guys both have my admiration. I haven't tried PE on 1/35th yet, but trying it on a 1/700 scale ship has decided me on the fact that I'm never going to try it on that scale again. I've got a 1/35 PE set for a Tamiya Cromwell that looks HUGE in comparison.
I don't think there are enough hours in the day for me to try PE at 1/72nd.
