Hello again,
Marui Tank Group is alive and well. We are the largest online group for owners of marui, academy and hen long tanks that shoot the 6mm airsoft round. For those of you who are interested, Marui is coming out with its first WW2 tank. The Marui Tiger 1 is a leap forward for the R/C armor hobby. This precision quality 1/24 scale R/C tank is the one to beat in the future. It will come out sometime in 2004 and will create a frenzy at hobby shops. Come and see the actual ad used in Japan to sell these wonderful machines at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MaruiTankGroup/

I used to have an Airsoft 9mm. Can you still get Airsoft handguns?

Komet163, you mentioned academy 1/25th kits, you know any references for converting them to r/c? Also do you convert them to firing the pellets as well? Call me curious. Is there an estimated price on that 1/24th tiger yet? Cheers Kevin

In our site, is a link to modeltank.co. uk In that website there is a r/c conversion page within the site. As for the conversion of academy tanks to airsoft, academy has two airsoft models. The Leopard 2a5 and 2A4 tanks are in 1/25 scale.

They are not paint rounds? I was under the impression they were filled with paint like the larger variety.

There are 6mm paintballs, though for some reason the 6mm BB pellets are preferred. Which makes me wonder why since a paint filled pellets easily identifies a hit. Is it because u can pick up some of the BB's after a game? :-)
