I am sorry but I once posted far long ago a question about the measures of humvee antennas but I lost the paper sheet where I wrote it down,

What are the measures of the antennas for those vehicles :

M113A1/A2 regular
M113 command version
Humvee ambulance
regular humvee
command humvee ( italeri kit)
M1A1 Abrams
M2 Bradleys
LAVs

no need to convert from inch into cm and into 1/35 I will do it on my own ,I just need the original measures in inchs

sorry for this long question
I have checked out several books including Verlindens about the humvee variants I searched google and there was no good match

All the vehicles you list use the same standard antenna. It is a two-part affair made of fiberglass over brass and measures about 8 feet long.
Here is a good example of the type above:

There is a newer type antenna out there that is being used that is only about 6 feet long and very thin, it looks kinda like a civilian car radio antenna.
Here are the newer type:

Both of the above are painted dark green.

I've got several of the newer slender antennas at work. They are about 5 feet tall and very thin. They are made out of copper. A close up of the base is located in my motor pool.

Thanks Rob , but for most vehicles in OIF
the antennas would be 8 feet long ?

But the command humvee, arent his antennas not longer than the other vehicle s antennas ?

Yes, most antennas are the older, longer style, 8 footers.

Command HMMWVs use the standard antennas. Some are longer because they are made into what we call a "Super Whip" antenna. This is made by putting together two of the upper sections on top of the lower section. It extends the range and makes the antenna about 12 feet long. It is not a standard antenna, but a field modification by the crew.
