I sure hope so, i just took the plunge and bought the Badger 150 with the Paasche D500SR compressor today.....threw in a moisture trap and a 1:48 kit and total came to 310.00 after tax and shipping. Not sure where you are looking at getting yours, but try Tower Hobbies (www.towerhobby.com) to see if the price is better. On the bottom left of the web page is a link to the plastic models section which has airbrushes, compressors and such. Might be worth a shot...

Hey Bishop. I'm gonna head on over and steal your airbrush set!! LOL

Why should your models be any different from shotguns and ATV?

Hi, Here is thought for you. Have you checked any
of the home centers compressor departments. I bought a coleman compresser on sale for 70.00 usd.
It has a 2 gal tank and cycles on and off. I had to invest
in a filter/regulator which added 30.00 to the total price
and also it is a oiless design a must(as far as I know)
for airbrush users. So shop around and you could get a better unit for alot less money. Good Luck.

ok im not going to buy either from what i read on the net Aztek is a bad brush unless you want to keep spending money on tips and waiting for it to start leaking in back and even the company does not trust there own product they told me they took there life time warranty and only made it 3 years now.

Aztek's are like Slim Jim's.. some people love em and stand behind em.. Other people (Like Myself) Hate Em... I hated/dreaded airbrushing when my aztek was my main brush... Now that I have a Paasche VLS.. I enjoy/look forward to airbrushing..

I still use the Aztek for crap work, like spraying Powders/Pastels or Future.. but that's only cause I want to keep my Paasche clean!!!

hey DTC
Take a look around before you buy things, think it over a few tiems and shop around to see which is your best deal.

Try www.currys.com for the airbrush, they have some good deals and for the comrpessors, well, i use my dads big compressor( he used to paint cars so it has all the extras you need for painting) but id suggest looking at canadien tire or walmart, you dont need anything big realy, and most of them should be silent...and anyway, they fil up pretty fast and after they go off...
