Academy, Tamiya and Humbrol have "olivedrab" color. This color is in green group. Testors have one also but this one is more gray. All of them have code FS34087. I've asked my friends and they said the testor's olive drab is WW2's color.
I'm wondering which the color of M18 Hellcat is? Why is there different between testor's and others in this color?
Thank you,

I don't know if you noticed but OD coming from the same company but from two different mix batches will be different too! No point in trying to buy a perfect match. This happens in real life too. OD on tanks vary in shade as well. I wouldn't sweat the subtle difference between the colors.

If you build dozens of Shermans and Allied kits like I do, a little variation is a good thing. I use all the various shades of OD to make each tank a little different. Can't have my whole armored coloum looking the same going down the road

Variation is cool. OD also fades in color so it doesn't matter much if one's darker than the other.

Same thing goes for german "Panzer gray" in original, this colour is almost BLACK, but we all use the mix of it with some white, so basicaly we get a "dark gray"

totaly black Tiger wouldnt be so interesting (just for example)

So make it as close to original, but whats important that YOU feel good with the colour u used!

From what I understand, the Tamiya Olive Drab is the closest match to WW II era US OD.

Apparently the FS 34087 color is a US OD that is applied to US Army Helicopters from Pre-Vietnam era to the present.

However, I would agree with the previous posters on OD being non-standard and weathered, with the caveat that most FS 34087 I have seen is too green, some brown should be added.

You could also try Testors MM ANA 614 OD, which is the OD shade that the RAF and USAAF used on WW II aircraft. They also have a lightened version of this shade called "Faded Olive Drab" which is useful for weathering, etc... It is a browner OD much like the Tamiya color.

Hope this helps.
