I dusted off the partially assembled Verlinden T1E3 mineroller that I got from a member on this site. Has anyone ever assembled this thing before?

Do the large disks need to be sanded any to reduce the thickness? The person who built it looks like they had troubles getting the assembled rollers into the U-shaped mounts (too wide). Also the end washers that connect the rollers to the mounts look like they have excess material that needs to be removed.

I'd like to get a feeling for this before I start sanding or cutting away at the resin.

I can take details pics from my model and post them. So you can compare your kit with mine. I make that tomorrow (here it is 10 pm).
I also have a french article to scratchbuilt Aunt Jemina, I can post it.

Wouldn't the mine roller Sherman be pushed by a another Sherman with a dozer blade or just another Sherman?
The dozer blades could be moounted on any Sherman, so you could have a 76mm or a 105mm with the blade mounted on it.
