Hi guys,
Last week I bought a T-55 from mr T and an "iraqi" up-armor set from cromwell.
What extra goodies could you advise me to use like a new barrel, PE etc. ??
Thanks in advance,
Marc

Swing over the the PMMS site http://pmms.webace.com.au/
they did a side by side comparison of the aftermarket tracks a while back.
I think they review the Lion Roar etch set there too.
I usually love the WWII Productions tracks, but have had a very hard time with these, breaking pins off every third or fourth link.
I am not so much of a masochist to use the pinned Model Katsten tracks and the newer type pinned Fruils leave me flat, I do not like the 'open' side of one whole run.
The General consensus among my friends and I is to stay away from the Verlinden etched sets. Thick, and clunky are the words that spring to mind.
The Verlinden set I had of their 'damaged wheels' were pretty poor AND had molding flaw (read as: huge bubbles) in almost all the hubs, besides they weren't all that damaged anyway. I could have done that with a motor tool or file.
The Verlinden T55 ammo is ok.
I've not seen the Eduard set and can't comment on that, but they usually make decent engine deck grills and have a Zoom (read as:grills only) set that might be worth looking into.
If you can get the Eduard set of theT55 inteiror designed for the Skif kit and are interested in dressing up the innards a bit, that would be a way to go.
I have both Modelpoint and Barrel Depot barrels, different versions, and both are very nice.
The kit AAmg needs no replacement, Karya makes tow cables to replace the Tamiya string.
