Posted this question over on the missing-links DG but got no responce. Can anyone tell me what type of cradle or pintle mount is in the new set. Is it the old cradle that was used on the water cooled 30's or is the small one like on the light infantry version?

The only .30 cal set I found on the web site was the air cooled version with the mounts from the water cooled vesion. IF your building WW2 these are probably the correct mounts. Post war there are other PE sets that will fit the .30 cal (israeli style mounts).Or you can scratch the smaleer mount like those used on the tripod.

I have this set at home. I would have to look in the box to make sure. If you don't get an answer by the end of the day, I will look when I get home.
