I recently purchased a ceramic building from Verlinden. Unfortunately, it didn't come with any instructions, so I have no idea on what to use to attach the pieces. Any suggestions?

Try white glue or 5-minute epoxy. Either will do the trick.

5 minutes epoxy will do better i believe . especially if the pieces have some good size and some weight prefer that

PVA for small pieces, either 5minute epoxy or 'contact' glue for larger ones.

I would also "pin" them using some wood dowels (I use bamboo scewers like the kind you BBQ with) to strengten the joints. Drill the appropriated size hole to accomodate the dowel and glue both ends when you assemble, cut the dowel a little smaller than the depth of the coresponding holes to give you some room so you can go back and fill the holes over the tops of the dowels. Use drywall mud, or a wee bit of plaser, or even white glue to fill the holes, and sand to hide the holes.

i use a product used in the buildng trade called 'no more nails' i dont know if its available outside of britain, but i comes in the same tubes as silicon sealant etc. not only does it stick them together with an unbreakable bond, you can also use it to fill the gaps or seams.

modelman92,
B&Q etc all sell it, and you can use it for almost anything, as long as one surface is porous, it will stick
they did an advertising campaign a while back where they glued a chair to a wall 6ft in the air, and it could hold the weight of a man.
