Heya, Folks...

Just picked up the Academy Merkava II (with Mineroller) and Mk. III kits for good prices from Great Models...

Everyone seems to say the roadwheels are no good on the Merk III But no one seems to like the Cromwell, or MR Models replacements (I think a company called Castoff also had a set). So, in an imperfect world, which set of roadwheels would you choose to go with?

Also, both Legends, Cromwell and AEF Designs all have replacement turrets for the Merk III --- is the Academy turret that bad or are these just upgraded turrets from later blocks? Has anyone seen the Legends or AEF turret and if so is either one worth the price?

AEF designs has a pretty cool looking (and pricey) upgrade for the Merk II:

It's $90.00! Is the quality worth it? I have heard some mixed things about AEF's customer service and product support...

And last but not least, has anyone built either the AEF or Legends Puma or Achzarit full kits or conversions...?
