I'm asking this question to canadian armour fanatic:
What are the tires/wheels on the LAV-III ? Is it a new generation of tires or are they use on other kind of vehicles (maybe american...) ?

The tires are Michelin X, the same as the wide version on the Bison. However they are wider and have a greater diameter. the wheel hubs are new as far as I know. Only LAV III and the Stryker use them.

Hi Luc,
somebody posted some line drawings of a LAV III TUA a couple of years ago on JPs Canadian Vehicle DG. they disappeared pretty quick. Don't kow why. I wasn't fast enough to download them.
