Hi, We have a small hobby shop up the road a mile or two that deals exclusively with RC airplanes, and they sell small scale stiff wire, I guess to make the controls out of. Anyway, these start off at .020" and go on up quite a few diameters. I usualy will go in and buy a small pack of 5 of these wires--either the .020" or .015" and make my antennas for the 1/35 AFVs.
Now since I'm working on Trumpeter's 1/16 T-34, I would wondering what size of this type of wire I should use to make the antenna for this AFV? Math has never been a strong point for me, so I was wondering if any of you folks out there could give me an idea, diameter wise would look right?
Thanks in advance and take care, Sgirty

Hi sgirty, I'm using either 1/32 or 3/36 brass rod. The actual size escapes me right now. I cut it to 9.75 inches.
Most hobby shops will have a K&S rack with various shapes and sizes.

I lied to you sgirty. The size I used was .020. I had to get some more today at the hobby store.

Hi, Thanks seyahmit. Have a tube of .020" here at home. Will try this.
Take care, Sgirty
