These new wheels by Tiger Model Designs are for a German WWII armored car, they look like they would work great for M-54 Guntrucks. Tires review

Anyone know of the size of the tires?

Don't the US forces use siw wheel nuts instead of five?
I'm not sure, but it might be a thought!

I like the tread but the rim is wrong. I wish someone would make a set of resin wheels for the five tons.

Animal,
Apparently, the wheel and rim are molded separately, (see below) could work if you can mate to an Italeri rim, or some other that is more correct.
Different whel set, but description says they are made the same way.
I was thinking that you couls add the other 5 bolts and replace the center cap with those from an Italeri M900 series wheel to have a better looking wheel too. I think it could work. 5 slots and 10 bolts on the wheeel, looks close enough to me.

Howdy animal,

Is the actual shape of the rim incorrect? (holes, curvature, etc).
Because I was thinking you could always shave off the bolt heads, fill the holes along the same surface, and attach the proper number and size Grandt Line bolt heads...........or is this not a 'viable' option?

Tread.

Besides, I thought Real Models already made an M54 resin wheel set.

Separate Rim/Hubs huh? I might get a set to check 'em out. I still like PSP Models' wheels though...

PSP Models

Dave - I noticed this morning that PSP Models is in the process of building their website. There aren't photos uploaded of these wheels alone yet. The are different US Trucks there, however, that they do have or are beginning to upload for inspection...

Like 'Tread mentioned too - I still like Real Model 5-ton Wheels too, though these are the military uni-directional types and not the commercial treads that you're interested in fitting to Vietnam era G/T models...

After Gunnie's recommendation I got me a set of Real Models wheels and they are very good indeed! I don't trust Real, as I had some bad experiences with their products, but those wheels seem to be an exception.

No, no, no, Pascal! They are similar, of course, cause they represent the same type of wheel. But rims are MUCH better, more accurate. See below:

Hi pawel

Thanks for your answer. I have 6 sets of Italeari wheels I dont think buy more resin wheels for my M54 project.
Cheers
