Ill draw out the Dio later but my Plan is to have a two sided Dio... One of a Tanker Hiding out in a Cabin with his .45 looking at a Picture of his wife. And the other side of the dio His Wife standing out in the lawn crying after getting the Letter that He is Dead (Since his Tank was destroyed and he got away he was Missing and presumed Captured or dead)

Well Hopefully Ill finish drawing out the Dio later and Maybe find some figures for it!

But then Again I may never do the dio

i hope you do it also, it woul be original. maybe the tanker could lean against a wall and on the other side have his destroyed tank. and for the wifre, she could be standing besie a tree in front of her house crying with the kids around her

Dave,

During WW2, did death notices arrive via mail or where they delivered through the military channels? My though would be to have the woman crying but have a soldier and a priest standing next to her trying to console her. Just a thought...

They were Delivered From what I remember. But maybe she was gone and just came back to check the mail. Another Thing I could do is having a friend of the Tanker That was in the military Delivering the message Maybe walking on Crutches with a bad leg. Ill figure it out though... I hope

it''s going to be a difficult idea to make a diorama from, you know? you will need a lot of supporting detail, like maybe have the soldier hidding while some german soldiers are calmly walking by

Hehe Yeah Dragonslain I had that idea at the start for Germans Walking by the Window but the Problem is I want the Guy to be Calm and Still at ready looking at the Picture so I scrapped that idea. Im Just gonna have him Resting in a old Storage house.

Gonna have a window Looking outside of the Storage Room.

I just want it To Be calm On the Tankers side Have Alot of Storage A Table Maybe And some other things.
Right now the Wood floor on the Tankers side is Done and Ive got one row and a Half done on the Bricks on the Tankers side.

Also Ive got a great plan on how to do the Window!

Dude, that is a really tight idea. I have a question, is it in 1/35 scale? Because then it would be cool, because it would be large, and you could better comprehend the scenario. Excellant idea!

Sounds like a neat idea. If you are going to put the front of the wife's house in the dio a "Blue Star" banner in a window would be a neat touch. Blue stars signified someone in the service, gold stars were displayed by widows and mothers of dead servicemen.
Just a thought...

Yes it will be in 1/35
Its gonna be two Parts one side the Wife and the Guy Giving her the message and the other side the tanker. It will all be on a 10"x13" Frame.

I dont plan to show the whole house just maybe part of the side.
