Inspection of my Academy M998 kit after I bought it... showed me that I have only a half gastank of the humvee....
Anyone out there who has a spare gastank???
Thanks a million times!

Jurgen,
I'm sure I will have one for you. It may be painted, from some old kit, but I should definitely have one. I'll let you know in the evening today.

If you get the part number for the corresponding Italeri HMMWV (any of them still in production), you can get their parts through Testors or Italeri's websites.
The fuel tank parts are almost identical.

Jurgen,
I have brand new, out-of -the-sprue Academy Humvee tank parts for you. Send my your address in email or PM.
Send me a part number you need, just to make sure I send you the right part.

Just wanted to say that I think it's SO freakin' cool that the members of Armorama help each other out so much...
(well, I haven't been of any assistance (yet) but I've been helped out two times, and I really think that's soooooo cool....)
Thanks Pawel I got the part in the mail today... I'll post pics of the tank when it's painted!
