Are there any exterior differences between the German Leo 2A5 and the Sweden's STRV 122?

In short yes. I have the conversion but don't know much about the actual vehicles so I can't point out all the differences.

Here a site that has a build of the STRV122:

As far as I know the HCKW conversion is the only game in town and it is some really sweet resin.

The North American Distributor for HKCW is a Canadian firm called Trackjam and they list the conversion for $50. Here is the URL.

That's $50 Canadian so something close to $37.95 US.

Hi,
I confirm the HK conversion resin set is really nice. There is no fitting trouble but you'll have to cut some Tamiya parts to fit the new ones so take care.
On my kit, the turret hatches were difficult to fit because of an excess of resin inside the turret but nothing impossible to fix.

The sole reproach I would have is the lack of decal as it really is tricky to paint the Swedish serial numbers.
The splinter camo is not as challenging as it may appear at first look.

Have a look at my personal website to see a more comprehensive review of this conversion

Cheers
