I just started painting with oils over an acrylic base yesterday. I noticed that the oil paint still comes off if I touch it. How long does it take to dry/cure to the touch. I realize it may vary by brand, but in general how long? I am new to the oil painting of faces, and was wondering. I have read all the articles on how to do it on the site, but have seen any on how long it takes to dry.
Thanks,
Brent

Usually 3 to 4 days. Thats how long it usually takes for the figures I paint.
Sometimes may take even longer.
