Hey all, just wanted to show a pic of 3 of my favorite revell 72nd scale tanks, i built them all ,and weathered them with pastels and lots of dry brushing. Have a look!

Those are some nice looking braile scalers ya got there war tool!

That middle one is the Zvezda t-34 right? What did you think of it? I built mine and the tracks drove me nuts.

Airwarrior, The T-34 was the revell t-34/85, it was a nice kit but the tracks are a whole link short on each side, but other than that i Highly recomend all of the Revell of Germany 72nd scale kits, they are all exceptional. Thanks for the reply

Nice tanks. Are the track links difficult? I've never done a revell 1:72. A war gamer wants me to build 5 at a time, and after another project, I'm considering taking this on. The tanks are T-80's by the way.

Revell link and length tracks are not too difficult to do. I prefer them to vinyl for fit and look, but of course, the one-piece vinyl are much easier.

I've built a couple of the Revell/Matchbox/Monogram T-80 tank. Decent kit but it really looks good with the photoetch set by Eduard (22012).

Darn it! I just started building this kit. How did you fix the shortage problem?

Well to fix the link shortage, what i did was use the spare track section that is suposed to go on the front, and choped 2 links out of it, then added the track retaining bar to the front, to cover the holes, and add a little extra detail. But the track problem isnt to hard to fix, it just takes some messing around with to get it. Good luck!
