I will be posting Mr Bob's article on assembling plastic individual track links shortly. A very well illustrated article that definately shows the novice track builder what's involved with the job.

Make Tracks!

As ussual if you have feedback or comments for Mr Bob or about the subject please post them here.

Thanks Bob!

Cheers,
Jim

Very very clearly illustrated article. Even I had already done a number of DML track links, but I think this is still helpful.

Jim, while we at it, can you do a thing on the drybrush with illustrations. I never get a hand of it.... :-) :-)

Great feature!! I was just thinking of posting a request for info on this topic, as I just picked up a Pz. III by DML...my first individual track-links kit. I was thinking, "man, this has got to be a b*tch to put together", but Mr. Bob makes it look not only easy, but fun. Many thanks.

Great article! I am just ready to start on the tracks for a DML Pz111, Ausf. E. As this will be my first go at individual track links, your article will be extremly helpfull. I have read other articles on assembling individual link tracks, but your's is the best. The detailed construction photos make the process crystal clear.

Thank you. :-)

I tried it on 1/16 with Verlinden's M113, but on 1/35 it can't be easy. Great article, well illustrated. If this competes for any contests you'd have my vote (if I were in the jury).

Here, here! I have about 5 kits with single links and never started any of them to I felt I could master them. And as every single person before me ahs said excellent article and thos pictures. Each one speaks a thousand words. As well as being a text book guide to tracks, it is a text book guide to writing an article. People take heed!

Now this came in handy!
I had a feeling that there was an article. I´m building the tracks for my Stug III and I was feeling helpless with my Dragon individual track links. Thanks for the great article!

This is a very good article with lots of details and throughout the building process detailed explanations, photos etc. I think it would be beneficial to all of us to see more articles like this on the site. Just a suggestion. Until I'll get enough experience to share and post my building process and techniques, I'll learn from articles like this and ask tons of questions.
Indeed, this site is great!!
Kind regards,
Sebastian
