Hi Guys
Just a heads up on the DML king tiger, when I glued on the rear idler mounts, looking at the instructions they seemed to show them as vertical so that's what I did.
Unfortunately they should be angled towards the back of the hull so I've had to carefully cut em off and reposition them
I just thought I'd post this in the hope that I might save someone else the same problem.
Pete

Hi. Thanks stormbringer. I'll jot this down on the instruction sheet so I won't forget it when I ever get around to building the kit. Right now it's sitting on the closet gathering dust and cat hair, along with about 6 other models that are patiently waiting to be built. There is no doubt that Dragon's instructions do leave something to be desired sometimes, as I've found this out on a few occasions. Such a shame from a company that produces such fine models.
Take care, Sgirty

Agreed, while the color instructions are nice to look at, they are much harder to decipher than the traditional black and white diagram types...
Found that out while doing my T-34/76. One of the few complaints I have about the kit.

I had the same problem on my KT.. Also watch the tolerance on the gun mount.. It was loose on mine and the gun sagged, I had to glue a small tab under the gun to keep it at zero elevation..

To be honest the one thing I dislike about the latest DML 1:35 kits is those awful colour instructions.
Although for some reason the new Firefly doesn't have them

Actually, it looks like the latest Dragon kits are reverting to the old style instructions. The SdKfz. 251/1 D and the Pz1b both have the old style line drawings.
The Pz1b is a fantastic looking kit. Strangely, mine came with two lower hulls.

Good, I am glad the "old style" instructions are coming back..
