Hi all,
Rob(Sabot) i know i have already talked to you about this vehicle.
But..... would anyone have a problem with me building this vehicle for the sherman build. I ask because i know there is no photographic evidence of this vehicle existing but I think it is possible because the M4A1big hatches were turned into DD shermans and may have also had wading trunks added?

Sorry if this makes no sense at all
TIA

im not sure about your wading trunks question but if you look on page 45 of 'tanks in detail 6(sherman and firefly) you will find a nice picture of a 75mm large hatch M4A1 driving through an english village on pre d-day execises.

the tank has an early low bustle turret without loaders hatch, M34A1 mantlet and has been partially waterproofed. it also runs on rubber chevron tracks.

could be an easy kitbash with the italeri M4A1 and the tamiya 'early'.

i would scan it for you, but my pc has gone tits up again and i havent had chance to reinstall the scanner.

hope this helps
