Cybermodeler online has sample pictures of some of the sprues for the new Trumpeter Karl Morser and transport wagons. I guess a lot of the wagon and track parts will have come from their Leopold kit, so most will be more interested in the Morser. From the pictures supplied there is two lengths of vinyl/rubber tracks. Im personally dissapointed with this, but maybe/hoping they will include indy tracks as well. The short text does say that not all sprues are shown. Price is [MSRP (USD)] $159.95. Release date is October 2004.

Hi, Looks pretty good. But like you, I'm kind of disappointed by those rubber band tracks. Wonder why they did this? The rest of it looks real good though. Wish they would concentrate more on the 1/16 scale armor though.
There just doesn't seem to be any stopping this company.
Take care, Sgirty

I think they are servicing both scales quite well. At the moment, they already have surpassed Tamiya with affordable kits in the 1/16 scale and have delivered some of the most interesting 1/35 in quite a while.
I agree sgirty, I would love if they took the 1/16 scale forward and released some more allied and axis tanks and vehicles at this scale. But got to give them a lot of credit, they have released some very cool trucks overthe last few years.

Hi, Agree plasticbattle. I wholeheartedly give credit to them for what this company has done for the modeling world in a very short time. Quite sure that the 1/16 scale T-34 will be THE or one of THE 'models of the year' this year. No doubt about it from my point of view. But it never hurts to do a little prodding here and there.
I hopefully wish that Trumpeter would do a mid-production 4-kit series of Shermans as they have done with the T34s. It's sure to gain them the 'model of the year' award for 2005. If they don't they are surely going to miss a very large potential sales market here in the States I quite sure. No matter how many of the T-34s they eventually sell, this will be small potatoes compared to the sales figures for a 1/16 Sherman series or 2 or 4 kits, agan with full interiors, of course. (And it wouldn't hurt for them to turn out a 2 or 4 series of a Panzer IIIs or IVs either, just to satisfy us Germanholics. Again, another very large potential sales maket for them.)
So we shall keep hoping (and prodding). Ha, ha!
Take care, Sgirty

With the popularity of Shermans at the moment, That would make a lot of sense. The 1/16 scale is becoming more and more popular all the time. The figure choice is growing and tamiya have a few kubels as well that got the ball rolling. I guess with the drive for more detail, 1/35 maybe pushing its limits (unless you´re Lee Lloyd *), but where could we go with 1/16?
* I saw somewhere recently some of Lee´s lates work. It was a drive sprocket. He spent 5 hours detailing just this. Cant remember where or what, but the images are still in my head. Amazing stuff!
