I would like to know can you wash your armor piece with turpentine after you airbrush with acrylics? Would I have to seal the acrylic paint job with a brand of Clear coat? If I do have to seal it what brand should I use? Is there a step by step way of washing an armor piece?

Turpentine should not effect an acrylic finish, so there is no actual need to seal the finish. However, a clear gloss coat, of say Future/Klear, can be useful as it helps the wash flow over the surface. Be careful what type of turpentine you use, one type (I forget which) can cause a significant delay in drying time.

I shoot Future as a gloss coat and then use an oil wash with Turpenol..
