I'm in th eplanning stages of a long term project. It will include a recon unit manning a forward observation point during the lead up to or during the encircling of the Falaise gap in WW2. now to my problem I would like to depict them while not permanantly seeled at least comfy in and around either a regular house or farmhouse. So far all I've been able to find are shelled out diorama accessories . Are there any houses or sets I could combine to make my dio. Iwould prefer a 2 story structure or a onestory barn / house with attic or hayloft. Also anyone have period photos or current of the architechture as I may have to scratch build.
thanks

Check out www.hansasystemsusa.com. They sell a full line of parts to build your own structures as well as a few full kits, including a Normandy barn. The full kits are a bit pricey, but they look pretty nice.
Hope this helps a little!

There are two items in the MK35 range that might fit your requirements, not specific to the Falaise area but should close enough.
B001--Norman house
B004--Farm
You can find the pictures on their site at this address, http://www.mk35.com/

I did a google for Falaise pocket and found tons of Photos for reference, there are both city and country photos available, you should find the scenes you are looking for.
