Costas, a wonderful first tree You have done very good. One thing I notice is pine cones should be on underside of the branches but that should be easy fix. Although it does look good even with them on top. I take it wasnt to difficult? Cheers Kevin

well thanks a lot guys . Jackhammer81 (Kev) showed me the way . The branch materials are as mentioned from Bragdon and the trunk is hand made forming cylindrical dowels and texturizing them with razor and wire brush and painting with several washes and drybrushing.
Kev i was wondering about the pine cones also but , i have seen many of them in Greece that grow upways and also underways so i dont think is wron. Also i think they look good and should be shown !!!!
Thanks
Costas

Thats a product of Bradgon enterprises that comes in many pieces of tree branches that u seperate and use drilling holes in the trunk and inserting and gluing each one seperately . They come inrandom sizes from the smallest to big ones .
Thanks for commenting that

Costas, nice trees! I don't know the region you are going for but you should be able to find what varieties of trees grow where so you can research the cone issue. Here in the states there are a number of products that you can buy to make pines from scratch. You should be able to find them with the dried flowers section at hobby lobby or other stores with dried flowers.

http://www.bragdonent.com/catalog.htm
check on that adreees to get more info on their products.
I found that quite easy to use them and they look superb to my eyes .
Iwouldnt buy ready trunks - even they have nice ones - i prefer scratching them. its also much cheaper
