Anyone have any techique tips on how to achieve ambush camo on say, a panther g late? I know what colors to use and what it looks like, but I not sure how exactly to make it look good. I just bought an airbrush, and while learning and doing testing i think I need a finer tip to do it with, but .. should I use some kind of stencil with the airbrush, or without? or brush it on?
heh.. thanks.

Airbrush your main three part cammo on. Get an old brush somewhere near a ZERO and cut off bristles near mounted part leaving just a small stubble. Use this to dab in your speckles. Remember, a little bit goes a long way. Yellow looks good on the green and brown and put some brown and green on the yellow. Of course if you are real good and have a top notch fine tip airbrush... use it.

I airbrush ambush patterns on, I have a Gunze Sangyo 0.2 mm airbrush, and I can control airflow really well with that baby.

The first couple of times I tried the 3-toned German scheme, I actually took a pencil and lightly drew the camo pattern on the model before I painted the pattern.. After you get used to using the airbrush, you can do the patterns freehand.. If you want a "hard-edge" camo pattern, you might use a homemade stencil or silly putty works well also.
Hope this helps..
