Has Tamiya made&released a 1/35 model of the Sturmgeschütz III Ausf E?
I've seen the long barrel version of Stug III but I would really like to get my hands on model with the Short-barreled 75mm StuK equipped.
Or if not from Tamiya, anyone has a better supplier?

have you had a look at the dragon selection of stugs?
this is a great kit, metal barrel Pe grill set and side armour rails also gives you the choice of making a few other versions apart from the one box
dragon kit no DR 6008 stug ausf b
dragon kit no DR6009 stug ausf c/d
dragon kit no DR6033 stug ausf f

Excellent...I've looked for the 105 mm version so I guess Dragon it is...good thing my regular supplier is getting Dragon models.
But Dragon, is it good quality? I've only bought Tamiya before.

Raid,
Dragon kits are very good. They have individual track links that must be glued together and some people find those scary. But overall they make great kits IMHO.

Most Dragon kits are very good to excellent. Very close to Tamiya in terms of molding, accuracy, fit, etc. In fact, many of their kits have decided advantages over similar Tamiya kits: Individual track links, sometimes a small fret of PE, sometimes even better detail. Value certainly tips toward Dragon in many kits. While I've not built any of their stugs, they seem to have been well received/reviewed. The new stürmhaubitze is supposed to be great, with a metal barrel and choice of going with or without a muzzle break. Personally, I love Dragon kits.

If you want to build a stug III E you'll have to find Dragons F kit ..you have everything in the box to make an E ,even the short barrel...Pretty cool eh!
