hiya guys well actually its very simple.
first you cut out the 3 side box in wich you want to make your rock face, I did mine from very thing foam board, next step was to fill up the empty space in the 3 side box I used pur, its isolating material that comes in spray cans, just be sure to wear gloves and a mask because its very bad for your skinn eyes and breathing.
I reworked the pur so that I would get a nice surface.
its all up to yourself actually
then I took out the cast bandage. its bandage with plaster on it I put some in water and put it on to get something on wich my rocks could hold on to.
when that was dry I just mixed a really thin layer of plaster on the entire project and took out the kitchen paper to get the first bits of the rocky surface.
then I took out the woodland rock molds wich are not cheap but as you can see do the trick and turn foam into a rock.
I casted them and I did it dryish so I didnt have to wait for 4 hours.
I attached the rocks in random fashion with repare paste, the stuff you use to fix holes in walls etc.
then I sprayed the whole thing with a tamiya spraycan german grey and I started drybrushing with white light grey greenish etc, this to is up to yourself.
I added some testors putty and washed that green as the bass of my moss.
the waterfall is going to be made out of woodland realistic water once I figure it out
I hope you read all this and that It was a clear explain of what I did .

Good work, this is coming along well. Much improved visually.
If this is water proof you could drip water down the face of it and see where the water fall would really fall then just come in behind it with realistic water. Nothing like mimicing real life.

Juul, this is a cool project. I have a couple questions. Where does the setting take place? And what vehicles will you be using? Keep us updated. Cheers Kevin

hiya kevin well I am not really sure about the setting and their will be no vehicles.
it will either be scotland where in wo2 the british commando's trained.
or it will be austria with a group of german mountain hunters, in that case maybe I'll add a donkey

Hey Sjuul,
Just a tip
Most waterfalls have a deep pool below were the waterfall ends in "horizontal" water. Put some algy (correct spelling?) on the side of the waterfall were the water does not wear the rock but the mist or spray makes the rock moist enough for plants to grow. Many time you can see (I am gonna use the Dutch word) varens in cracks near the waterfall
Matthijs
PS have you finished your 200 kits yet?
