Hey guys, I just finished airbrush painting some parts of my Flanker. A friend of mine who is also into modelling a/c told me that after the paint is dry, if you apply a minimal amount of car polish to some parts it will look great. Is this true? Is it worth doing, say on a part like the nose which is insignia white? He told me that it will add a gleam/shine. Should I do this or should I avoid?
Cheers & thanks in advance,
WD.

it will help as it will put a shine on the finish and help protect the finish just be careful you dont overdo it incase you remove the paint/varnish. This and T-cut (for restoring damaged/dull car paint is good as it will help smooth out the finish same as before dont use too much. you can also use it for removing small scratches from clear parts.

Thanks Mike.

Would it be good if I apply it on all my painted parts or should I only stick with colors like white?

Will the car polish suit both acrylics & enamels?

Thanks in advance,
Cheers,
WD.

should be ok for all colours if you use a neutral colour polish and should be ok for both types of paint but best to test it on an old kit/part 1st

Try using it on a scrap piece first. Oh, BTW, use only acrylic car polish else other types can melt the plastic. :-)

Thanks for the warning Red.

I will buy the product & try it out on some old parts first.
