I need to know when and where the 105mm SHerman was used in the Pacific? Did the marines use them or just the Army?

Lots of pics of M8 75mm howittzer tanks in the Pacific, but not many Shermans with 105s. I found a single photo of an M4(105) w/ HVSS in Concord's Tanks Battles of the Pacific War by Steve Zaloga. It also has a color plate of one of the tanks IDed as being from the Army's 713th Tank Battalion on Okinawa.
