What battles would the tamiya kit #35190 m4 sherman early production be appropriate for?
Thanks

Hi Recon, I did a quick AOL search of m4 sherman early production, and the first entry said "mistakingly described as". I believe that's the Timaya kit. I'll leave you with this lead, thought you'd like to know, if the info is good. You could go to:

to see what I mean.

The Tamiya M4 kit out-of-the-box depicts a rather late production M4(75) dry stowage tank. It was used from about late 1943 on. Here's a nice page with a list of "tweaks" for the kit : http://www.usarmymodels.com/MANUFACTURERS/Tamiya/tamiya35190.html
You can use some, all or none of the "tweaks listed there to make the M4 you wish.

The Tamiya M4 can be described as "a Mid/Late M4 with some rewoks, and mistakenly fitted with some features only appropriate for later Shermans."
www.usarmymodels.com provides great advices to Sherman modeling. It is a must to read the info there before you start a project.

I guess you could say it is good for either battles in France and in Italy in 1944.and all the way to the end of the war in some cases..with a few mods you could even say Italy in 1943 too ,but you'd have to change the bogies and not add the side armor..the small M34 mantlet would be more appropriate too ,but the M34A1 was used too.
