Roadsign-color

Hello guys

I want to build a roadsign of Sainte Mere Eglise for my diorama, but I don't know the color of this sign. Following you can see a pic of this sign in b/w:

Sadly there is no pic visible it looks like it says it is not available but then in French. You could save it and copy it to the Armorama Gallery where you have 3 MB of space. Then you won`t have any troubles with linking it to the forum

From what I have seen those signs are usually black text on white background. Yea - there is a lot of weathering happening.

Thanks for your reply. do you know the color of the frame?
The roadsign today in france have a red frame,black text and a white background, but I don't know the color in WW2.

Well I did a bit of snooping around and I would go with black for the boarder too.
I looked at all the reproductions in AM products and they are all black.
