I'd like to find kits depicting NVA artillery kits in 1:35, resin and/or plastic. Any one knows if these kits are available? (I also post this in Artillery). Thanks.

Welcome...

I am assuming that you mean North Vietnamese Army and not the East German Army.

They used the American M101 105-mm howitzer in large numbers. Italeri makes a beauty of a kit for that.

Probably used the M30 155(?) Russian howitzer in the early days. Zvesda makes a good kit of that one.

For mortars (Soviet/WP doctrine classed them as arty) the Chicom 60-mm is available in 1/2 (no typo) scale made by "CN". Not in your local shop but I do believe that there is one on ebay right now (or recently). I'm sure that they used some left-over Japanese Type 97's in the early days as well.

They also used the US M1 81-mm and US M2 60-mm mortar as well as the Soviet M1937 series 82-mm of which I have one being scratched in 1/72nd scale in process but based off the Revell soft plastic kit that is available.

No 'dedicated' North Vietnamese Army arty kits that I know of.

That's about all that I can help you with...
