I've seen quite a few pics of 1/35 scale vehicles and figures with MILES gear on them. Are these from aftermarket kits or scratchbuilt? The only items I've seen sold are Hoffman devices but haven't seen the other stuff.

I havent seen any AM stuff other than the Hoffman device you mentioned. I imagine that the belts, sensors and CVKI are scratchbuilt. "Q"

I did the original Tamiya Mi with MIles a while back. I used Tamiya's smole device form th e now old moder equipment set. The strap was done with pained masking tape and the sensors with some plastic bits. I used one of the Academy Ma Deuces with the blank shredder tip and added some stretched sprue attachment rods. It was coonvincing enough to take several awards, despite a pretty poor MERDC scheme.
