hey all, regarding my other post, i am in a bug hurry and i need to know some places in normandy francei laready have the road sighns in place i just gotta know what placed to paint on the sighns or if anyone has some print out images i could have to put on the sighns???

here are a few you could put on if your sign is going to be "pointing" in various directions towards different towns.
Carentan
Calais
Paris
Versailles
Dieppe
Amiens
Le Havre
Caen
Le Mans
Orleans

The list goes on, just whip out an atlas, choose where your dio is going to be set, and have a look at surrounding towns
(those ones i mentioned are mostly from the north)

it depends where you dio is to be set, as the signs would be different in the american sectors in the west, and the british sectors in the east. grab an atlas or an online map and have a look.

I've seen pics of direction signs in Normandy with white printing on a black background and some with vice-versa. Sometimes the name is all in caps and sometimes caps with lower case. And sometimes a contrasting colored border It may be a regional thing or maybe its just random with no hard and fast rule.
