How would I go about simulating grease on engine parts etc. Any ideas?

I don't know if you can get them in the States. Out here in HK, we can get a set of 6 bottle of paints come from Gunze Sanyo, marked as weathering paint, it has oil, mud, sand, rust, and another 2 colors that I cannot recall. When using the oil thing on the engine, it looked like real grease. HTH.
